My Cultural Bag

In my cultural bag I have a lot of special items that are very important to me. My first item was my doll collection that both my grandmothers gave to me when I was little. They symbolize the faith and religion I have because two of them are angels bending down on their knees and praying and one of them is a little girl and my other one says the goodnight prayer in Spanish. They are all important to me but my most favorite one is the white crystal girl standing on a silver stand. Ever since I got the dolls I always believed in god and I always think that the angels are looming over me.
My second Item in the bag is my lucky handmade jewelry box that a very close family friend made for me .It is made out of some kind of bamboo sticks and red velvet on the inside. It also has my name made out of the sticks on the front of it. It is very important to me because I keep all my special necklaces and bracelets I got mom in it. In the inside it has two red velvet hearts and in the middle of them is a ring holder that holds all my glimmering silver rings.
My three baby dresses are my third item in my bag because they symbolize family because when I was a baby my mom’s mom knitted me three dresses a pink, blue and yellow one. They are important to me because they show that she did a lot for me. They are also important to me because I’ve kept them for about eight years and once I grew out of them I dressed my dolls in them to keep them from getting ruined. They are also really important to me because there the only things I have that came from her true heart because she actually made them for me.
My trophies are also a big part of my cultural bag because I think they symbolize the sportsmanship and athleticism I have. They are important to me because I’ve been into sports since I was three and I’ve loved them. They are important to me because my brother is the one that encouraged me to try all these sports that I have succeed in and know I am good at them because he is the one who has helped me practice. I will always cherish my trophies forever because they show me how much I have succeeded in every sport I’ve tried and they show me that I am athletic.
My snow-white bead angel ornament is the last thing in my cultural bag it symbolizes god because my brother and me got them from my grandma who always prayed to god and loved her angels very much. Before she died she gave us them before Christmas, so every Christmas we hang them up at the very top by our angel. Then after the holidays I hang my up on the shelf by my dolls.
